What's a ball park figure to put this right? Trying to decide if worth claiming on insurance. Only seems to be cosmetic to the outer 'skin' as far as I can tell. Is it an easy fix?

I had a flat wheel originally with a spacer to bring it closer. Then I thought better of it, lost the spacer and bought a deep dished wheel instead. Doing it that way means the hard thing you don't want to be hitting with your head is another 50-60mm further back.

I'm sure some will say NO! but personally, I would. I'm currently running some pads that came inside a used set of calipers I bought ages ago and have had no problem whatsoever.

It does exist. I have a Mondial Blue touch-up kit at home, it's never been used. Sorry but that's how it's going to stay!

This is the speed-limiter override switch. You limit speed to 30mph, pull onto a 60mph speed limit and think "Oh f***!". Put your foot down hard and it cancels the speed limiter. You're still getting full WOT before the switch is pressed AFAIK.

I've had Police attention twice in all the time I've had my Clio. 1st time I got the matrix board in the rear window of an unmarked estate flash up 'SLOW DOWN' as I was making progress along a DC behind him...so I promptly backed off. Second time was blue lights after I gave it almost full...

Mine made it to 7 years and 125k miles before it started to make noises. Oil has been changed every 6k miles from new without fail. It's very extremely worth it.

In 125k miles from new, my Cup has worn brand spanking off the shelf new tyres only twice. Those it was fitted with at the factory, and it's first set of replacements. Since then, all of the road and track tyres I've used/tried have been second hand, and 95% have been bought from members on...

It's not that bad...I'm a runt of a bloke and I can cope! As others have said though, if it were for a race I'd probably think again, but for road driving, or a 15 min session on track it is manageable.

Not really...mine's now done 125k miles and between oil changes (I do mine every 6k) it doesn't consume any, despite it living a fair chunk of its life on track. Best you just keep an eye on it.

If oil is on the minimum level it needs more. Top it up and see if that cures it. Remember, the oil light means low oil pressure, not low oil level, so everytime you see it, cross your fingers.

What about movement using a keyboard? Are you just running or stationary? How do you get the analog effect of just nudging a joystick very slightly forwards to crawl/walk silently instead of running?

There's far more than just a few bhp on offer from removing the power steering...here's mine, before and after power curve... As said above, is quite a challenge when parking. Had to run my Cup as a daily for two weeks recently, harness and bucket seat were more of a pain in the a*se than...
