Given that your tyres are the only contact between your car and the road I struggle to understand when people prioritise spending money on power upgrades over rubber. If it was me I'd rather have better tyres than more bhp, but everyone is different. Good luck with your search.
It's in the handbook I think, it says you can drive through up to 4 feet of water but you should stop regularly, get out and check the depth before continuing.
