I use normal however cannot comment on the difference as never used grooved.
Depending on your pads (I run DS1.11 and find them fine and for the price they are perfect) @Vioar
Front DS1.11 with HC Brembo discs, very very good and got them for a very good price from @George@RTR_Parts
Rear standard discs with brembo oMe pads again work perfect.
My car is just a track car if you using on the road the brakes maybe abit squeaky until hot!
Yeah true but I need my box out as its jumping out of 3rd and it's doing my head in....so might put a diff in it when it's out then tidy a few bits up while that is out!

Sounds promising! I have had mine 4 years now and debating a rebuild over the summer, what money I would save doing £250 track days get a new cage, seat, diff etc etc so it will be race ready for whenever I want it.
Maybe look to do a msv trophy towards end of the season
I like how it's bhp that determines the class, do you know what class your mates are in? I presume with my clip I would fall in either class B or MsVT hot hatch...
@Tomotek is that the MSV Trackday trophy you have been looking at? I have looked at this and they seem to have a good calendar for a very competitive price. 30 qualify and 45 min race which is split between 2 drivers

Not that I am aware of Black Diamond in Warrington (North West) around £400 I paid then when I said I was not happy with it they did the next replacement for a discounted price
@NorthloopCup I don't think it is my box it's been reconed twice now, I will check the dog bone it's a power flex one however it's been on the car about 2 years (about 5000 miles) all Trackday mileage engine more mounts were near last year.

So I had my gearbox re-conditioned in November last year as it was jumping out of 3rd mid corner and wouldn't go in smoothly.
Was on a track day At Oulton on the 6th and it started to do it again but not as bad.
Example - come down the gears braking into a Corner, put in into 3rd about mid...

Think I may join toward end of this year I need... Full cage, approved seat + harness, cut off switch etc etc then all race gear and hand device!
@seanconnolly I notice you have cut your door out....how do you open and close your door? also have you got a close up of the bolts/spacers used to push the window to the door to keep it tight seal?
So just purchased some PMS solid top mounts.
Can some please explain how to fit or show pictures how they sit on the car....this may sound stupid however the fitting guide doesn't seen to make much sense!
I can't seem to picture in my head how they fit/hold together.

Mine was 920 with 1/4 tank without me in, I have now fitted poly window kit and cut a few bits out so hopefully sub 900..
Do you know the difference between the glass and poly + motors etc etc

Sorted how I am going to bolt my front windows in just debating cutting all the material out covering it up! My uncle work a window fitting company so he is going to do a decent job of the sealant on the backs!

I agree with you they are really good just be careful my broke up after a few track days in the summer! I now have DS1.11 and they so much better!! @Mash.
