Cambelts arent worth scrimping on, aux belt gets changed on mine @ 35k, and got the cambelt done at 50... no messing then, not worth it. I always get mine done early for this reason, 5 yrs is a long time.........
It does this tap tap tap tap tap tap....... sounds like you have a 1990 ford fiesta lump under the bonnet lol. When you rev it, it will dissapear for abit, then return. Its the solinoid getting noisy.

the truth hurts my friend, sorry but mk2 phase 2 have a low bhp/ton figure ..... a 197 even has a better figure ;)
A cup is closer in feel to a 106 gti than a normal 172. MK2 172's have a bhp/tone of 154.... a cup has 171 bhp/ton......
look best too :)
mine,
had it two and half years now, can't go wrong imo ;)
He'll be back spouting rubbish about 172's. I personally think he's been owned by one and is bitter..... its like school children..... the girl and boy fight, but they love each other really ;)
i like the toyo proxes (some dont lol)
i have mine shod all round, very good for the price imo, alot of the ctr drivers and vx220 owners change to them too.
this is an MG, the glory days (days gone by, note the black reg plate)
these below are NOT MG's, these are a pathetic attempt of a struggling manufacturer to shift some cars (using MG's NAME)
it didnt work.
oh and here is some of british laylands finest,
;)
Comming from a zs owner
Now, what did evo say about the 182 cup/trophy, ah yes, best hot hatch ever etc, now where was the issue with the zs? oh there wasnt one. :(
sorry.
