Thats great but Richard has a 1.2 and personally I would go for the sports one as a deep, loud exhaust tone will sound daft on a 1.2. I'm not trying to slate your car or anything, as I only have a 1.4 myself, however I think a sporty tone but one that isn't too loud would suit your car better.

I think it's the rear one, it's the one that connects it to the engine I think, he showed me one from a Megane which looked similar to this He said he got underneath the car to see it aswell so I think that's the one I need.

I got the clio serviced today and the mechanic notified me that the gearbox mount has excessive play, the mount itself is okay but the bush is worn so I'm wondering how much it will cost from Renault and if anyone knows any alternative sources to buy one from? I'm also after two new front...

Wheels are okay but the splitter looks quite chavvy as it doesn't match up with the rest of the car, if you colour code it and get side skirts it might look okay though.

I would say get the AA out tbh as there could be loads wrong with it if it hasn't been stored properly although they might refuse to come out if you tell them it's been sat for that long.

Yeah happened to me a couple of times when I accidently did a wheelspin. As said it's clio's for you they have cheap gearboxes it's the one thing I don't like about the Clio, everything else I love. :D

I think there is a fair difference between the 1.2 and the 1.4 as I think the 1.4 and 1.6 are practically the same engine the 1.4 being slightly less capacity or whatever whereas the 1.2 is totally different and built solely for el cheapos. Although in all fairness as said I would say don't...

I've finally sorted it, the little thing sticking up on the control was fairly worn so when I pushed it in it wouldn't spring up to keep it in place. I managed to bodge it by stuffing some blue tack right into the corner of it and then pushed it in quickly and it managed to click into place...

Yours is a special edition so it probably had them thrown in to try increase sales. Some of the later non sport Clio's had colour coded bump strips aswell.

Just bought some from that seller, better pics on that one to show you the rear of it as the mk 1's have a different clip. He's already sent me feedback aswell. :S
