A slipery lap of Brands Indy

Clearing down camcorder tapes and came across this. A ragged lap on a damp track on very worn track tyres. With a nervous passenger. Click me

    Big brakes...yes or no?

+2 as already said. Although, I found I could get the DS2500s to wilt at Bedford using the full GT circuit (lots of 100+ stops). That's why I tried Pagid Blues when I went back there - and they didn't suffer. The Seer - Peperami does have a point, you asked for advice and recommendations...

    Big brakes...yes or no?

Yep. See post #7 above - no need to remove foglights if you get the pad/disc combo right. I've run Pagid Blues with Brembo HC which were faultless. I'm now on Carbon Lorraine pads on the Brembos...initial thoughts are that they're up there with the Pagids. That with braided lines and a...

Crazy Honda Rally with Mark Higgins...just watch...

Watched this with sound last night...just another day in the office for him. If I was his passenger I'd have not made a sound either LOL.

    Best Suspension

So true. Also, if it corners like it's on rails, you're clearly driving it far too slowly LOL

Whats going on with insurance companies?

Try Highway (HIC). They're very mod and trackday friendly.

I love my Stealth from K-tec. Sounds nice too... clicky

Crazy Honda Rally with Mark Higgins...just watch...

To be fair, he obviously knows the road. I've still not watched it with sound yet.

    My new headlights..what do you

    I've seen worse.

Difference between power @ fly and @ wheels

That's what I thought too. It would improve response and speed up rev decay though.

    my clio 172 cup

Shiny! What mods have you done?

Can you EVER get rid of the letterbox lines when watchin dvd's??

Have a word with the film directors then - get them to stop filming in this pesky 2.35:1 ratio and tell them to concentrate on 16:9 instead ;) They're 2.35:1 as that's how they were filmed and that's how they're supposed to be watched. There's nothing worse than a good picture stretched to...

    Big brakes...yes or no?

Better pads and discs, with lines and decent fluid and fade will be banished for good. I've thought about bigger brakes/4-pots many times, then I go out on track and realise they just do not need it. As above, standard capliers are up to the job.

Steve has turned me into a g33k.

    Very nice Mr R.

    Your first phone

Yep, I loved mine. Only weighed something like 80g which at the time was incredible. I had one of those Nortels too - first I had with inbuilt hands-free speaker phone.

My Turinis, after 96,000 miles, can they be saved?

I'm considering selling them - want to run 15s on both road and track - much wider choice of serious rubber at silly cheap prices. £170 to sort them then. Would I get £170 more for selling them refurbed? What do Turinis go for?

    Your first phone

Cutting edge though...you answered by sliding the grey ear-piece up didn't you?

    Your first phone

I had a low-spec BT version of this, called the 101 I think. Had no letters on the keys, and you could only store 10 numbers in the memory without names. Battery was good for 30 mins talk time when brand new. 12 months on and one day on standby was all it could manage. Massive.

My Turinis, after 96,000 miles, can they be saved?

They look terrible I know, flaking, kerbed, covered in baked on brake dust. Am I going to need a full refurb or are there any other options? Considering they've only been hand washed about 5 times in their life, I think they're quite presentable LOL
