Any work, provided it’s been done by a competent/reputable person/garage is a win-win on these cars now. Unless you’ve got deep pockets, the less you need to spend, the better.

Timing belt needs changing every 72,000 miles or 5 years whichever comes first, so if it’s been 5 or 6 years since it’s been done, I’d be getting it sorted straight away.
