If you're racing get a gripper - more a necessity if your competitor has one - but an LSD is more than good enough for general track days.

No Brembo are just aftermarket. I can only speak for the UK market, but Lucas (British company) made the original calipers for Renault. TRW/Lucas etc are just part of German company ZF Friedrichshafen. I think they own lots of popular brands these days.

Took the old girl to Croft with me on Monday and did a few laps to test some new springs.
I managed to avoid the curbs and preserve that genuine splitter. Taking them off this weekend and putting her back to factory. Too clean to be a track car.
The LSD combined with that correction/bump steer kit will transform how the car drives.
I can remember doing mine and going around Croft for the first time. Turn-in and exit speeds were transformational.
Mitsubishi > Nissan > Mercedes > Renault parts are compatible on some models. Particularly MK1 & MK2 Clios, as you found out. My son worked at Nissan and said they still use Renault, Mitsubishi and Mercedes parts on modern cars.
I only did 3 sessions at Croft on my new ZTR - around 40 miles in total - and they're not even marked up. It took quite a lot of flinging them into the corners to get the rear temps to even budge. I got the medium compound. The outside temp was 20 degrees and dry.
