I'm sure a bodyshop can sort it but as pointed out it aint cheap. Other than that you could get one of those chipsaway type people to come out but the finish is usually lackluster.
Ford have done something similar with the fiesta I think it's just to make the car appeal to a wider audience in order to increase sales, although I agree it does look garbage.
Sorry to ressurect an old thread but my problem is related to this, basically this feature works on mine but when I open the drivers door it doesn't disengage and the light on the dash doesn't show up nor does the interior light so if I forget to unlock the car by pressing the button manually...
Have you got just the main beam in HID or both dipped and main? HID's are supposed to be illegal unless you have projector style headlights aren't they?
Should have got crystal black side repeaters, will match the theme your going for.
Cleveleys, just off North Drive.
No worries Ben I just have to be careful with it for a few days, it's not as bad as some wheels I got for my old Escort, they scraped against the calipers lol.
Thanks for that, I'll get some ordered asap and yeah that's next on my list, had to get the wheels first as the standard ones were in a right state. (courtesy of the previous owner)
Also do you know how much a set of locking wheel nuts will be from Renault?
Finally my first REAL mod, a set of 172 alloys in good nick with Continental tyres courtesy of Ben_Stevo172.
Lovin the fact that they are 7J, holds the road a lot better now. :D
I have noticed there is very little clearance on the front from the damper, literally about 2mm if that so...
ooh you might find the campus bumper doesn't support a splitter? Not sure though.
Car looks good pal, certainly a lot better than most young lads with 1.2's.
Good couple of mods to start off with, I guess your going to get the rear bumper from a ph2 aswell?
Are you sure those wheels and tyre combination will fit without sending your speedo out?
I'm considering getting my wheels painted professionally in a darker colour but I'm unsure what I like best, I kind of like dark wheels on a dark car but too dark and you can't really see them which defeats the point of having alloys in the first place so just wondering what everyone else...
Looks allright like but to be fair though it doesn't look much different, does the end result really warrant the cost of the parts + fitting?
Also, rear discs on a 1.4, do they come as standard?
About the big spacers I hear they cause more stress on the axle and what have you and is unsafe...
