Just a quick question what is the name of the bolt that has a thread on the end of it that is used to secure the spare wheel and the little kit to the body of the car?
I ask this as mine is missing one and the wheel annoyingly jumps about over nearly every bump or if I let the clutch up too...
Theres an 18 year old lad at college last year who had a Renault F1 197 in yellow with a bodykit on a 57 plate it was the special edition or something as it had Renault F1 stickers n that and his dad bought it him for when he passed his test and payed his insurance aswell.
Was a gorgeous car...
The fingertip control thingymajiggy has seperated from it's place and is only being held in by the wire connecting to it.
I have tried fitting it back in but it doesn't seem to want to clip on or anything and I can't see any damage to any of the parts so I took a couple of pics to see if...
Can't really collaborate on this as I rarely fill my tank, only do it for long journeys and it seems normal to drop fairly quickly at motorway speeds but what I will say is whenever the needle gets down to 1 bar I have to put petrol in otherwise it won't start if I am parked on a slight incline...
Hi John I live about 5 minutes away from there and I am going to that pub (3rd pic) tonight!
Where bouts do you live?
Be nice to see you around and about.
Not that annoying lol but guess what, turns out the dealer did NOT service it, can't say I'm surprised though tbh.
I've got it booked in for a full service next Friday including putting flushing oil through it aswell which it desperately needs, the service book says the last service was done...
Yeah it only has 6 alphanumeric digits rather than your standard 7 and it has a slightly annoying phrase at the end but it can be overlooked. May even get a private plate for it nothing expensive though and will be at the bottom of the "to do" list.
Well what am gonna do is check the oil, filter, air filter etc. and if they have actually been done I will simply get my mechanic to check the brakes and everything else so not just gonna put it through regardless.
Finally got myself exactly what I wanted, a Mk 2 Ph 2 Clio 1.4 16v Dynamique+ in Pearl Black. This is now my second Clio hence the title.
Only one photo atm from the dealers:
Couple of cosmetic jobs to get done on it and will put it through a full service on Monday although dealer did get...
lmao @ the guy who said it would be £300 to fix. I guess you are thinking of selling up once you get it back then? They are never the same once you have crashed em, there is always something little and niggly that annoys you and wasn't there before!
Just think you could sell up and get a 182.
You have to remember though with insurers such as Directline and others that may be cheap/cheaper you won't be able to modify your car as I know for sure Directline will not insure any modded car to a driver under 25 so bare this in mind before you jump at the cheapest quote.
no no I think Polo's are expensive cars as it is don't forget so it may not be as overpriced as you think.
I would love a Polo GTi they are awesome cars so if you can afford it then get one. In fact I would have a 1.4 16v Polo as they are quick cars for what they are, got to be a 16v though...
It's funny when I see people slagging microsoft like this when I bet the majority of people have an xbox 360 and they will sit there all day long trying to say it's better than ps3. Kind of ironic really.
One of my coils went just like that, it didn't even let me know I just happened to feel the car being a little hesitant and then the dash light started to go on and then off intermittently, listening to the exhaust it sounded just like you mentioned but it also gave off a bad egg smell.
Main...
You don't seem to like the front end much. Doesn't look as low as one would imagine that considering you've gone 60mm if I lowered mine that much it's a**e would be scraping the floor.
Yeah I know he's edited them but he's over used it and not used it right imo. Car looks okay theres a few things I don't like but nothing that's not been mentioned. Looking at how low you want to go I would say if you go that low you will ruin the car more than you already have, no offence.
I wouldn't say so but certain types are such as big bores and other things that stick out under the bumper and just don't go with the car at all but there is nothing wrong with a good quality make to get the sound that your engine deserves as the standard zorst doesn't do it any justice.
