Jack up car, a bit after teh handbrake there is an ajuster with 2*13mm nuts. untighten both untill you can get said broken cable end out.
Go to the rear caliper (whatever side) and remove the cable form teh mech. You then have to use a punch and hit teh cable through to caliper...
