Valver Handbrake Calbe

Does anyone know how to fit a new handbrake cable on a valver as I think I snapped mine, well the handle loose so it may have just clipped of that. Anyway is it a easy job?? Thanks, Sam

Yeah easy job.

Jack up car, a bit after teh handbrake there is an ajuster with 2*13mm nuts. untighten both untill you can get said broken cable end out.

Go to the rear caliper (whatever side) and remove the cable form teh mech. You then have to use a punch and hit teh cable through to caliper body. then just take the supporting bracket off the rear torsion beam (think its a T20/25) and tehn reversal to fit the new one.

Hope that helps

Oh brilliant!! Thanks for the help, i'll hopefully tackle this job in the week then. I wonder how much renault are gonna charge me for a cable??......

Thanks Again, Sam
