Good going Trev.
I drive hard most of the time, sedate the rest of the time, and 100% flat out on track...my PE2s lasted not far off 20K as well.
It's not how fast you go...but how you drive that matters ;)
I can't declare my no claims entitlement on two seperate policies, right?
So I need to insure one of my cars with 0% no claims discount?
Are there any companies you know of that give good cover for two cars?
Or do I take it up the *** and pay through the nose for one of them?
Surely if someone fell or sat on it the dent would be wider?
To me, that's a hard impact in a small place...the natural centre-line crease in the bonnet would have made it even harder to dent like that.
Someone's kicked it or hit it with something I think.
w*****s.
You may find after a while it seems like you've got no brakes at all when bedding them in.
I had that when I put my current set of Blues in, but they've been fine ever since.
More info here.
Seating position sucks.
Lack of road presence frustrates at times.
Can't think of anything else that wouldn't be expected from a French city car with a big engine in it.
Running costs can be light if you want them to be.
I'm only partly into my 3rd set of discs at 92k, I'm on my 3rd set of front pads, and still on the original rears.
That's including changing when not due from upgrading, and all the track use too.
Brake less ;)

Hi Matt
Welcome to the forum.
Right, fuel tank is 50 litres. Most manage to get 35-40mpg out of them. Some as low as late twenties (lots of town driving) and some as high as mid forties (lots of long trips and motorway use).
There are points to note aplenty - someone should be able to...
Absolutely not.
I bought it because I had a trackday voucher, and Evo said of their long-term Cup, "it can be driven home afterwards with no signs of abuse".
I went out with him - it didn't really feel that quick, but he certainly wasn't afraid of it - and the stopwatch doesn't lie.
Mad - and all with only 73bhp too.
I chased one around Goodwood. He had me on the straights and I had nothing on him in the corners, but we was very weak on the brakes.
Video here...
Properly driven Elises, regardless of engine size, I have huge trouble keeping up with on track.
Fantastic pics Chris - the detail you capture at distance when at speed is incredible.
I'm liking that cone pic (stupid face aside).
Is my front wheel off the deck? Looks like it to me.
