Changing my shocks on my 172. What car are the top hats on the left for? Will they fit on new 172cup shocks?

Bump.. Fitting my new upper inlet manifold tonight, can I take the gasket off of the old one and put it on the new one? (Don't laugh.. I can't even fix a puncture). The above seems to be if you're refitting the same one.

Fitted some nice RS mats. Hopefully get round to fitting this lot in the week. New coolant tank to freshen the bay up, top hats (maybe), oil and coolant change, new cup shocks all round, both track rods if the other arrives in time, and tracking. And I managed to finally find one of...

If it's as clean and good as the mileage suggests, had the necessary belt change etc then i'd say 5.5k, or hold onto it for a while and get a lot more. Cracking buy. I bet Rsport would sell for about 7k no doubt.

Tried to call two local painters to get a quote but can't get through, and i'm weighing up whether it's cheapest to wait for a good condition flame red bumper to come up, or buy one in a different colour cheap and spray it. Can someone in the know give me a rough price to spray a front bumper...
