24-105 F4L IS.... if you can live with 24mm at the wide end, it is an amazing lens with a decent reach. There is also the 24-70 f2.8 but the thing is twice as heavy as your camera and is nicknamed "The Brick" by the canon folk. The 17-55 f2.8 IS EF-S lens is a good option on the 400D too but...

A Sigma 24-70 f2.8 not tempting? They can also be had fairly cheap.

Bear in mind that 28mm will not be that wide on a crop. A couple of mm on the wide end makes a large difference! I used to use 24mm and regularly had to stick on the 12-24.

I just got given some Plantronics Gamecon 777 dolby surround headphones. They blow my wireless sennheisser's out of the water. I dont know if they are only PC compatible though.

After some more googling I found that Sn0wBreeze will be a windows pwnagetool. ETA 12 October. I'll just wait until then rather than arsing around with virtual PC's.

Nope, it just means that you wont be able to make it simlock free AFAIK. Do they release PwnageTool on PC ever? Can I install OSX on a virtual PC, create a new IPSW, copy it over to windows and then run itunes to load the new file? I quite fancy some of the new features but dont fancy buying...

Was too busy to actually get anything good today. One of the few with a 50mm.

I'm happy to have my photos used for promo material at work, but it must feel amazing to have them used all over the world daily. Even if you don't get credited for them, you still know they are yours. :D

50 random I hope! I'd struggle to see it through otherwise.

Adobe camera raw is on version 5.5 now I think. If you are going to work with raw files, either Canons own DPP or Adobe lightroom makes processing quick and painless. Get lightroom anyway TBH, it is awesome.

Lol, I grew up in Stroud, I can't say that I miss the junkies or hippies though. Perhaps thats why Amsterdam feels like home actually...
