Either had waaaay more done or the place that remapped it is "optimistic" (read lied through their teeth) to say the least. And 8450 will soon see the pistons/rods fall apart.
I think you might be able to, when I removed (then refitted lol) my acoustic valve I noticed you'd got a pretty good view to the passenger side one. Not sure about the drivers side, then again I can't remember exactly you might struggle to undo the nut.
I find tbh its borderline on or off but there is a nice happy slip point its just finding it, its not the best but once you've got used to it you'll be fine.
I changed the clutch in my 1.6 twice and it never really changed. The 172 has the deepest bite i've all of them i've had.
The only thing you could do is try resetting the adjuster.
The Ph1 and Ph2 headunits are the same, the only question may be with yours having an update list headunit fitted. Although I don't think theres a difference on the changer side i'm not 100%.
Nope they just look like a normal 1.2 Ph1 with horrible alloys as standard. That looks bloody good though tbh! I'd agree with the powerdrums and the bumpstrips, would be sorted after that.
Clutch is auto adjusting, nothing you can do about it i'm afriad. You'll just have to get used to it, there all the same give or take i've had 3 and all have had a narrow and high bite.
The low limiter is actually done off water temp according to the renault manual. The level sender doesn't have the temp sensing ability like the valver/williams one. Was thinking of fitting a valver one to mine to have an oil temp gauge.
And still completely shafted by the looks of it. And the oem renault clutch is a valeo one too, which I don't think that is as theres no stamp and the springs should be green/purple.
I'd go with resistor pack, mine went a few weeks ago. You can put a short across the resisitr pack plug to test the fan, pm me if you want details.
Will relieve you of £100.
Was coming out of the whitestone tesco express car park as I went in. Had anthracite 172 wheels, chequered flag vinyls and a new style RS badge I think. Was being driven by a rather attractive lady, had a private plate too can't remeber it.
I'm sure i've seen it on here before.
