its really gorra be drivetrain related, gearbox, cv's diff etc does it stop crunching?

probably works because the 1.4 manifold is designed in a restrictive manner to produce higher torque at lower rpm's for your granny driving it the 1800 stuff will be designed with a more performance outlook and will flow better etc

Over on the vauxhall forum i frequent (migweb) Mintex 1144's and 1155's are highly regarded as fast-road/track pads respectively any one using either of these pads on their renaults?

Sand in between coats of primer and paint (1200) but not laquer, you need to flat it back with say 1500-2000 before laquring tho hope this helps :)

to be fair i cant see why they'd use a different engine? bit lik the VW Golf 1.9TD motor, theres 90/110/130bhp variants and the differences are mostly turbo/intercooler/injectors/boostlevel as opposed to internal engine changes they may have used a higher compression ratio which could pose...
