Hmm yer i bet he is, the problem is this so called specialist he used seemed to just bodge things not sure if it was cause he had no money or they couldn't be bothered either way slowing getting a group of companies i can trust!
Whats next for you? I'm interested in one of those badges but its...
I ordered some new bulbs and got them delivered to my work, so just ran out and fitted them. Can't decide if i should get wheels, exhaust or suspension next.

Ermm i think the sensor was around £70ish i will have to check the invoice, i was told a little trick to check if there is a problem with the sensor. If you just wiggle the wires and it cuts out then you know that's a problem. If you do get one at some point make sure you get one with the newer...
Thanks, ticking along nicely now.
This morning i set about sorting my xenon bulbs, it was very annoying that only one was working! On the advice of @Dr Jekyll i purchased some D2S 5000k from hids direct. Also fitted new Bosch wipers all round. The new bulbs look really good, will go for a drive...
Just for future reference if anyone searches for this in the future the problem was the crankshaft sensor.
As a test if you wiggle the wires to the plug and it cuts out then you know that's the problem. Fitted a new one and all good now.
So yesterday was judgement day for the car! It had started getting worse with the jerking and cutting out etc so the trip to ED couldn't come soon enough.
Arrived bright an early on Monday, had a quick chat with Andy and left him to get on with it. This morning i spoke to Andy again and he...
Confirmed they are 382's so ordered some nice Osram ones, while i was at it i ordered new Philips Silver Vision indicators all round and finally some new Bosch Aero Twin wipers all round :)
Quick question, do you know if the headlamp washer pump and the winder screen washer pump are the same?
Not at the top of the list right now, but i have been looking at some mobile companies. Anyone you can recommend? I do have a local coach works so i might ask them.
Excellent are they the 382 P21W bulbs?
So this morning has been spent trying to work out some issues and a general look over the car. I don't really like working on cars anymore, but sometimes needs must.
First problem started a week or so ago, I was driving home and noticed one of the Xenons had gone red. The plan was to take the...
Well this morning I have had a look at it, I took the throttle body off and that was nice and clean. I checked the relays in the engine base fuse box and no sign of water ingress there either. I know it will be something electrical, just not sure what. Noticed some other weird stuff that will...
So today i was sitting at the car wash, had been there around 10mins and then the car just died for no reason at idle. So carried on driving home and it cut out a few times when slowing to a stop in traffic etc. The car was warm, not sure if that makes a difference. I'm sure lots of you guys...
I'm sure there is a way to do it, you can get leather dyes etc but it doesn't bother me tbh.
Yer i like the thumbgrips as they are now, never been a fan of them on the original wheel.
So today was exciting as i got my new steering wheel fitted, much better than the original. However it was not all good as the car now has a problem :( Will make another post for that. I'll let the pictures do the talking, work was carried out by Royal Steering Wheels.
Ha ha no far from it! I have to use M1, M25 and M4. It's all about anticipation especially around town, try not to stop unless you can help it and keep the momentum up etc. I was driving like a grandma but still doing 65/70mph. I just wanted to see what I could get out of it.
So far it has been OK, i have experienced maybe twice where im at low speed/revs and the car hits a wall and almost stops for a second and then its fine. I think the car was ran on s**t fuel before whereas i only use Vpower in it. I may just replace the injectors not sure yet see what ED says...
Thank you, took a couple of years and alot of blood, sweat, tears and of course money. Started life as a 1.5 auto when i first bought it ha. Hopefully we can make the Clio better :)
Haha it's not top of my priorites right now, but I probably will have it off you at some point.
Didn't do much at the weekend tbh weather was pretty poor, met up with @STEVE.M for a beer and a chat. Thought I would post up some pictures of my old Civic EG for you guys.
