Some guy told me that the local discount warehouse sold cheap immitation silvervisions, he was right! Seen them working and they seem pretty good. They also sell blue 'xenon look' headlight bulbs and was told that despite being nowhere near as good as the real thing they do look better than...

I gave up trying to find people who stocked them, one Hankook stockist told me supplies had dried up, and nobody could get them! I desperately needed tyres as mine are all illegal so went for the Kumhos just to get me out the s**t. Price seems pretty good anyway, and I've got some more wheels...

Gone for Kumho's... £240 for all four fitted and balanced etc I'm gonna give it a couple of months and order some 888's for track use Can't really afford top price tyres this month lol

Ok I've sorted my tyres now I need some pads! I'm going to be using the car for mainly road use with occasional trackday, I've been told to get red stuff pads but my bro recommends I stick with Ferrodos. Anyone got any advice? Cheers Ste

I'm currently desperately in need of a fell set of tyres for my 197 after my adventure at Bedford on Monday! People have recommended Hankook RS2's but I'm struggling to find anywhere that stock them locally, plus I'm trying to avoid paying a fortune for my new rubber! I've phoned a few local...

Good stuff, gotta get some decent tyres and a camera for next time. I was having a few sideways moments of my own, mine were intentional though lol. Was having great fun playing with lift-off oversteer on the last righthander before the pit straight!

Going to change the bolts later on for some 19mm ones, if that doesn't work I'll try swapping the front wheels round to see if it's the wheel causing the bolts to come loose!
