Well I guess its something you never think of really, oh yes i'll just oil my bonnet catch. Its just renault at their finest really.
Says through the DVLA on that letter.
The modus courtesy car I had at the start of the year was the same, with having to press the unlock button twice to unlock all doors. Don't quite follow why its needed really but i'm sure theres an idea somewhere.
Hardly all they'll do is check it doesn't stick and lubricate the catch maybe. I'm certainly not going to bother, just put a drop of oil on it when I change the engine oil.
Changing my clutch for the 2nd time in 12k miles (don't ask ) so obviously i'll need to drain and change the gearbox oil. Its got normal 75w80 Castrol stuff in now which made a massive difference last time I did it.
Looking at demon tweeks I can get millers stuff (might as well) but they...
http://www.caraudiodiscount.com/acatalog/Renault.html <- That was the only place I could find it but i've found it for £40 now so my bad on the price but the one i've got is shite on the steering controls front. Half the time I press a button it doesn't respond and the display is laggy as hell...
Extreme isn't specced high than a dynamique afaik what else did it have?, and its just a plastic/rubber wheel like this expression/authentique. Fvcking hate it myself, it was so nice when I used to have courtesy car and get back in mine.
My old 1.2 had it, never quite seemed to get on with it. Certainly not missing it now but it'll be nice to have it back in the 172/182 just for gadget factor really.
O/T but wow a QS5, i've never actually seen one.
It might have something to do with it as speed/revs ratio will be different with the bigger wheels and it might cause troubles with the QS5 box.
