Could only be bothered to get an in cabin one on the way home. Mainly to illustrate how f**king annoying it is on the motorway :dead: Car feels so much better though I don't want to take it off.
He has new badges all round on order so it will be 100% original.
When I machine polished it a few weeks back there was so much tar on it:dead: Never seen anything like it. Ruined a full bar of clay and had to spray on the tar remover mega thick lol!
Looks wicked now though and is 80% swirl...
Make sure you don't accept the car back until you are 100% happy with the repairs.
Go over it with a fine tooth comb before you take it back!
Unlucky mate :(
Exactly. It takes me 2-3 days to do a car PROPERLY. However the car will only need a snow foam down and a wash once every month and it will look the same as the day you detailed it for about a year.
Not sure tbh. I don't know why anyone would pay for something they could essentially do on their own with a bottle of SRP and some wax. That's IMO though :)
For anyone whos interested id pretty much say its fixed :D
Bongy plugged it into the clip thing and it came up with a throttle pedal fault. Luckily he had one laying around, so swapped them over and its not come on yet :D
Cheers for your help mate :o x
Yeh boys cleaned the TB out a fee months back with wd40 and some wet and dry to get the s**t off. Dave is plugging me in tomorrow so il hopefully have some indication.
Daz I tried to take the lambda off but I couldn't :( hence why I'd have to take it to a garage.
Dave would really appreciate that. I got a handheld ecu reader that I can use to switch off the emissions light but it says there is no stored faults.
When you next free mate? X
Already replaced the throttle position sensor dave. Birchdown did it so it's been done right.
Fast, nope still not done it. I'm not really wanting to chop up any wires and fit block connectors. I'd rather pay out £20 for the proper recaro resistors than do that (I'm strange I know)
