Try activating auto lights by having the ignition on position one and then turn the sidelights on off, on off in fairly quick succession.
You should hear a beep to confirm it's been done.
They don't have to be Triscan. I've used Ridex on mine and they are also fine.
Rear driver's side requires a female plug.
Passenger rear is a male plug.
Front sensor use Bosch 0265006383 off eBay for around £30.
Inlet definitely on flush all the way?
The bolts can seem tight, but it can still end up not fully located sometimes.
Loosen all the bolts and give it a wiggle/tap with your fist, then tighten them all to 12Nm.
It could just so happen to be at the exact same time the cog is in the correct position to engage drive.
Like it resets to a certain position every time 🤔
