Guy on cutters developed a programmer that lets you alter the throttle response map. I had normal throttle as completely linear (as standard it's really unresponsive at low throttle) and then made sport mode slightly more aggressive than standard. Really simple interface, you just plot throttle...
It is. But it's a motherfucker when something breaks or you want to upgrade, add Bluetooth etc.
Sounds a good one. I spent silly money on suspension for mine, was fantastic.
Get the CSL rev matching done, improves the box (although it's still w**k ;)). And I'd get the throttle map software, brilliant thing to adjust. Also I'd get the DRL mod done (full beams @30% used as DRL. When you click the headlights on the lights alternate like a police car. People move out of...
Having it on the back, in an obvious convenient spot works really well. You can grab the phone from a pocket, and it's unlocked by the time it's out. But where they've put it seems bizarre.
And then there's the utterly retarded placement of the fingerprint reader. Long, tall phone. Let's not put it in a position usable for humans. Let's put it high up. Next to the camera.
Awesome. Looks awkward to use, and you'll end up with fingerprints all over the camera lens.
Fair enough. But i updated a z5 compact I've kept as a backup phone to android 7. And it was running quicker than my S7 running the older version. All the fancy hardware in the world seems of little use to me if a technicaly inferior phone performs better.
Making it look like the latest version isn't the same as it being the latest version of software. However you try and phrase it. They spend several months of the year running out of date android. Whichever way you cut it, that's a negative.
So you can turn your phone, into something running the latest Google software (months before it's released) in 3 minutes? Or are you talking about using a different launcher?
Yeah, i was being sarcastic ;). They've pretty much reached a point where they add tinsels and sparkle every year, but very little that becomes essential. Notification handling is better than it was a few years ago, but essentially I'm using my phone in exactly the same way as 4 years ago.
Ordered one, will probably sell it on to some mug via eBay who decides they want one ASAP after they've sold out. The tech maybe impressive, but when the software updates are months behind Google, it's all a bit redundant.
There's some software for the e46 that lets you map the throttle response using a laptop. I made it completely linear, gave it a lovely long throttle. Much nicer.
I've broken the octavia. Seem to have eaten through tyres, all suspension bushes and drop links. It's almost as if they didn't intend them to go on track.
Are you going to be a standard audi driver, and insist on using launch control between traffic lights in city centres?
They are nice dailies, I've got the pheads review on the saloon up at the moment. Viper Green looks great.
That's the free version, obviously the subscription paid version has unlimited miles. The memory will be an issue with 16gb though, don't you have an sd card?
