Wasn't on track, was braking for around 90 to about 50 and nor even full force as I wasn't 100% pushing it. Granted i'm no race driver but I know when to brake and the speeds I can take the corners, You had a similar set up, so not this set up, and they vary massively so not a great comparison

Not being funny but it clearly isn't. Brakes were bled a few months ago when I had the lines fitted, and this is the first time I've driven it hard since. I brake when I need to, not for the sake of it.

Jonathan, they are official ebc's, my mate never fitted them to his 182 before he sold it so gave them me cheap.

^ they were red hot! Like i said, wouldnt have chosen them over the DS2500's if I hadn't got them dirt cheap off a mate.

I've found the redstuff pads really good when hot to be honest, read a lot of bad reviews, and i only got them over DS2500's because they wer ebrand new for £30, but just tonight they wern't upto the job. They were bedded in as per a lot of guides on the net and until now performed well...

Got turini's on it. Oh, and i wasnt riding the brake pedal for miles etc, I know how to brake reasonably well.

Just went out for a 20 mile backroad blast, and my brakes went. Not very good considering I've upgraded them! Got Brembo Max discs (grooved) Redstuff pads Dot 5.1 AP racing fluid Braided lines Not very impressed to be honest! Don't think they will stand up very well to track work :(

Yeah 2 bits, can see the join in the middle. Needs about 2 inches trimming off each end at the wheel arch.

Yeah the car is driving etc, then it seems as soon as i pull over it works fine again :S Thanks warren, I'll search his name in this forum and see if it finds anything! Edit - found it, I'll hopefully get it plugged in to a machine somewhere to find the problem.

I've done a search but I'm not searching the right thing, although im sure ive seen threads about it before.... Got in the car tonight, pulled off and it wouldnt go above 2.5krpm, pulled over for a second, rev'd the car out of gear and it was fine again? Then left the gym and it did the same...

Cheers Fred. Still not too sure, it felt perfect for me at neg 2.5 as opposed to the neg 1.5 that I managed to guess it at. I think an advantage to me is that of the 2 set ups I have had (not many I know!) compared to the standard car and then sportlines, the coilovers are 10 times...

Fitting is easy as pie, can be attempted yourself. Not sure how far you are away but if it aint too far I'd do them for you. Setting them up you need a pro place really. They can be guessed by eye but in order for the benefits you need the works, tracking, camber, caster, toe in, and corner...

Not sure which to choose from..... What would people choose, price difference is not worth mentioning, which would be better quality? Car is on a ktec decat at the minute too, I don't want a stupidly loud car, but need to run the decat as it is too low for the standard cat and it hits...

Yeah got all the stuff mate, fitted coilovers and springs to at least 9 clios including my own. AAS exhaust? Whats that, im planning one very soon....

Not sure yet mate, got literally thousands to spend on it in the next few months so not sure if i can justify more at the minute. I want it doing but won't be in the foreseeable future I dont think, sorry. What springs you going for?
