I have heard your car and i can tell you that i dont lol. I like being able to hear my music on number 8 thanks ;)
And win man! Not seen you for ages. We can discuss my suspention options as my drives a c**t.
Lol none of the bolts were a problem, the actual exhaust was all unbolted and not connected to the car - I just couldn't get it out from underneith the car as when i tried to seperate the exhaust in two (the bit you had fabricated) it was on tight!
It came in the end as we stuck a screwdriver...
Well for now its doing the job.. I couldn't find any sillicone stuff that fred was on about :(
It all needs sorting any way... I need to buy a torque rench to get the bottom of the rear suspention nut torqued up properly and i also need to buy longer bolts that hold the two flanges together at...
good call guys. I think coil overs would be abit much with my drive been like it is. My 1.2 scraped with a 60mm drop and with the carbon splitter it would be a bit bad.
Soon as i have cage it will be striped :D Oh and i have just noticed my number plate is on the piss.
And Nick - after hearing...
Yeh im glad i went for it now. Any people umming and arrring over buying one. Do it. Its seriously not that bad.
Nearly rang you other day as i couldn't find that sillicone stuff u were on about... I found this paste stuff in the end. It was made by holts but wasn't gun gum... It sealed first...
got it for around £330 from the group buy delivered direct from yoz.
Best money i ever spent as the car feels endlessly better. Its not psychological either :o
ROFFLE Yep guessed right!
Im not decatting it - Its done what i wanted it to do and iv heard Pepsi's old yozza system + decat and for road use its rediculous. Its 98DB or something with the standard cat on lol. Its nice and quiet on the motorway though sitting at 90 leptons.
I had a rate...
With a lot of effort and f**king about i got it on. anyway:
It sounds ace :o Not overly loud but you can always tell its there...
Has freed up the revs a LOT and seems to pull a little harder. An improvement either way. Loves it. The gf doesn't though lol
I can try and get a...
I fitted mine today and tbh its not TOO bad. Its hard to explain. It is loud but not overly loud. Deffo freed up the rev range loads and seems to want to 'go' more :S. I love it!
Where would be the best place to cut it do you reckon?
Cheers danny i will have a go at that tomorrow
All the places round me wanted 50quid + vat and from reading on here it sounded easy... things didn't go to plan lol... nvm i am sure it will get sorted.
Cheers guys.
aye a mate has said that to me...
Just hacksaw it once then pay for it to be welded when/if it needs to go back on? Any idea on cost?
Lastly - is it this hard to re fit the new one ffs :(
Right i have dropped the rear like, beam thing by un doing the nut at the bottom of each suspention thing behind the rear wheel...
I couldn't split the exhaust in two as i had planned as it had just sealed and wouldn't budge.
Any way, now i have dropped the rear axel/beam thing - how the f**k...
Thanks matty that will be usefull!
I seem to remember Fred saying use exhaust sillicone or something instead of that gum gum shite...
Anyone elaborate :)
As above,
Just bought a yozzasport system which im about to go and pick up and was wandering how i go about fitting it?
I wont need to drop the rear beam/axel thing to get my old one off as it has been fabricated to split into two...
what do i do with regards to new gaskets and ensuring the...
There is power finish and super finish which are Menzerna's new polish...
The power finish is apparently the same cut as menzerna intensive polish, but leaves a glossier finish!
+1 that wont even polish out with a rotary. PMSL at T-cut.
Respray job dude 100%.
Blow in and blend if they can get away with doing it - about 60 quid.
I cocked up the first time I used it as i rushed into it... Ended up needing a blow in on my rear bumper - but i got this at a discounted price from a mate so it wasn't the end of the world :o
As russ said, you need to be alot more carefull with rotory. You need to move them alot faster across...
