    Advance 048’s

Never used them, but they are very good. Been superseded by the A050 i think, but you can still get them. They're not cheap though.

    Crumbing Ferodo DS1.11 pads

Yeah as kev says, i wouldn't be swapping pads on their own. Keep them matched to the discs.

    5G rollout

They need to sort the 4G network coverage out first. I couldn't get a signal on EE in Tewkesbury, even stood outside the EE shop ?

Preventative maintenance - 2nd hand coil springs?

As long as they fit properly they should, otherwise they'll just hold dirt and water and speed up the corrosion process. I'd just coat them in ACF-50 and clean them every 6 months.

Preventative maintenance - 2nd hand coil springs?

Something like that, up that way anyway. It's a guy Jord knows.

Could probably get them powdercoated for £20.

    Subframe bolts

Yeah. An impact gun would be ideal to undo the bolts as the shock is a lot less of a force than a constant turning force by hand.

TomoTek - 182 Track Build here we come!...

That's a joke that he didn't get a penalty for that!

182 Track Car Newbie, Any advice?

Good stoppers and good tyres are the main thing. With 3 people sharing, you're all going to have different driving and braking styles, so decent pads and fluid will be key.

    Recommended wiper blades

Any of the Gtechniq or Gyeon ones. Could try RainX, but my previous experience is that it causes blade judder.

    Recommended wiper blades

Stick some rain repellent on the glass. You use the wipers less then ;)

    Recommended wiper blades

Yeah mine does the same, probably 2 inches maybe. Doesn't bother me too much tbh. Not sure of any other way around it.

I've got the Bosch AR21UAR21U on mine. Both 21", no problems really.

    Subframe bolts

Scrap that, you can access the rears. They're 18mm. Just done a few searches.
  26. Mr Trailer Man

    Subframe bolts

It's been about 4 years since i've done one, so i can't remember but yeah the rears are different. You can't actually access the nuts on the rear ones iirc.
  27. Mr Trailer Man

    Subframe bolts

18mm for the bolt head and 16mm for the nut i think. Swan neck spanner will do it.

    182 Gearbox leak

Yeah just a couple of bolts from memory. Can do it in place.
