    Danny's is rapid!

    Front top mount torque?

Mine are just nipped up by hand and haven't come loose. So i'd say the 20nm would be close to what mine are at.
  3. Mr Trailer Man

    Slight Ticking noise?

Is it coming from the driver's side wheel arch area? If so, it'll be the carbon canister.

    Car is now Dead

What was it? As i mentioned in your other thread, i can look at the airbag light for you if needed.

God knows. Shouldn't spark on you though...

    Catastrophic engine failure

    More than likely I'd say.

    Car is now Dead

Seem to all be injection related. Have you broken a wire anywhere?

    Catastrophic engine failure

A set of Supertech valves would be a future proofing insurance if you can do the work yourself. Would be quite costly for a garage to do the work. But then there is always the next weakest point, where do you stop ?

    Catastrophic engine failure

Yeah they are 2 piece and friction/fusion welded, as most production valves will be. It's cheaper. High revs and hitting the limiter will put extra strain on them as will pops and bangs map (extra heat).

    Catastrophic engine failure

Its dropped a valve, fairly common. Doubt the overfuelling caused it and it certainly wouldn't melt the piston if anything the overfuelling would lower cylinder temps.

    Light steering under acceleration

It would. What is it at now?
  12. Mr Trailer Man

    Where is this coming from?!

Yeah I'd say crank seal too. Box, clutch and flywheel off job.

Not sure what the DF176 is. At least the light is off though.

Take the car to them and they'll see for themselves. No come back then.

Didn't know you could powder coat plastic  Thought it had to be metal as it's an electrostatic process.
  16. Mr Trailer Man

    LY Clio 182

Ahh so the wheels are powdercoated and the caps are painted?
  17. Mr Trailer Man

    LY Clio 182

They need to paint them at the same time as the wheels or get the paint mix abolutely the same as what was used. Anything else and they'll look different. Painted plastic does tend to look a little different, but not as much as in your pics.

All ph2 sports are 25mm inner iirc.

    BC DS Coilovers setup question!

You'll need to set the preload once they're on the car. With it jacked up you want to wind the collar up to the spring so that it just stops any vertical play on the spring. Then move the lower collar up so it just touches the top collar. Now wind the top collar up again until you can get the...

Air Bag Fault Codes, photos included

Yeah new screen or you could get it reconfigured so that it doesn't have auto lights anymore. Turn the passenger door switch back on and clear the codes and rescan. That should tell you what it is and what to look for then.

Air Bag Fault Codes, photos included

Light will only stay off if it's been fixed otherwise it'll keep seeing a fault every time. I can have a look at the airbag faults with rstuner if you're anywhere near Warrington.

Air Bag Fault Codes, photos included

The airbag switch that you can turn off on the passenger door, is it off? It's something to do with that. The serv light will be for the light/rain sensor as you said.

Lower gearbox mount, is it needed?

Have you made sure the subframe is the same width? Otherwise you'll have problems with driveshaft length and all sorts.

    BC DS Coilovers setup question!

Leave them as they came from factory, it's about right as it is height wise.
  25. Mr Trailer Man

    How does this happen?

Held in by a circlip. New design is miles better and prevents this happening.
  26. Mr Trailer Man

Can't get the rear wheels to lock up.

Have you tried rebuilding the calipers with fresh seals?

Does dimpling intake ports work? (No)

Fuel would stick to the walls instead of atomising properly is my understanding.
