Is it red (the car?)... Work the polish in untill it goes clear and the pannel should heat up a bit aswell... If not you will need more agressive polish (menzerna powergloss or something).
yeh, Ryan (razza25) is a buildings officer for a school in sheffield. I managed to convince him to lend me the shelter so i could do joes car even if it rained. Hes a legend!
Exactly what was happening FFS i was gutted. First time id ever came across it. I attacked it with powergloss on a cutting pad and it didn't do a thing. Im going to give it a go with the rotory when i get it as a last resort - If not then i think it will be a respray jobby. Sorry we couldn't get...
Yeh man!
Iv read the DW guide twice now though... think im getting it...
Its just same as dual action but you start the speed off slow >work your way up> then slow it back down from what i have read...
and it removes more paint! Il be practising on the GF's car
They adjust automatically and AFAIK they aren't supposed to be 100% level. the drivers side one always sits higher to give better visability to the kerb on the road.
on most NORMAL cars iv found that to be BS
you slap some menzerna FF on a polishing and to most cars that haven't been properly machine polished before it does nothing. Like when i first did my clio it just laughed at it and clios paint isn't exactly hard.
But i remember reading something...
im doing pepsi's integra type R tomorrow and was just wandering what the paint is like as iv never detailed a honda before :)
i read somewhere its really soft? Will probably start off with intensive polish on a polishing pad...
Sound about right? Any general hints or tips? :)
The letter has just come through the post...
So looks like your my competitor (H).
I have booked two days off work + 1 weekend so should be ok...
Question though - how do you clean your car at the show?
