well it cost me about £650 for the engine and loom, but its a low miler, if you source your own engine then i'd charge you just for the labour to fit it. took me about 2.5 hours start to finish so call it £50 fitted, that ok?

its gas flowed by GDI aswell so must be about 176bhp, torque in 5th is good too!

i did the same as deb, been fine for over 6 months! i never bothered with a primer or anythign like that and it looks fine, just did them black to make it look subtle though, i reckon with a brighter colour you probably need more prep.

i prefer the 172 to be honest, prefer the wheels, the price of them, not a huge fan of the exhausts on the 182 untill they are replaced with bigger ones!

my mate just payed £850 - 21, 2ncb, driving since he was 17 cheapest quote i've had is £1400 at 19 with 3ncb. his was with churchill, mine was with elephant mate, but try www.ecarinsurance.co.uk aswell, they can be quite cheap.

yep, im definately gonna get one if i have the cash next year, depends on the mortgage though and insurance, had quotes at 19 with 3ncb of £1400, but thats in next july when i have 3ncb, so i'm hoping by feb/march time it will be doable!

just drove down to rotherham to get my mates 172, what a car! he took me for a spin when we got back, sooooo fast, i need one, can't wait for next year to come!!!
