The 6 is still pretty modern. The 5 looks a hundred years old now.
If the battery and software are still good then you're doing well.
Vodafone just changed my plan to sim only £20 a month and 8gb of 4g and unlimited everything. Oh and free Spotify premium for a year.
I'll keep my note 4...
Of course the dealer thing is a massive long shot.
You're in a s**t position mate because you're car looks like it's done 30k but people know it's done over 100k and as Hans said.... Thats a death knell.
Me? I'd buy your car over some shitty 75k model all day long but the buying public are...
Worth contacting a few performance sales places Danny? Like Ecosse?
I sold them V6 TT years ago and they were spot on to deal with, sold it to a dealer and still made money.
Paint scheme is irrelevant, if it doesn't match, you make it match. We mixed 14 shades for a Lexus last week then just made our own using the closest match. That's the diffference.
I always forget about the bonus shop thing. We're one of the last remaining bodyshops that don't run a bonus system. The basic wage is high and it helps keep the standard high although in the same breath can affect times on jobs which in turn affects profit.
Worth spending more time and getting...
9 out of 10 probably wouldnt know it's wrong. That's how the standard is driven south.
A lot of people assume the paint won't look look like factory once repainted as they don't think it can be replicated.
On a weekly basis I inspect people's cars which have maybe had some previous work or...
I'll wait for more reviews of the op3T at the end of the month. Very tempted.
Really fancied some waterproof next but can always change when the next decent Samsung comes out next year.
Its probably the most labour intensive job in a bodyshop mate. I very much doubt they will even entertain that idea.
As per Scott, anything approaching the 3rd time of painting you're really going to struggle finish wise as everything is just sitting on top of layer after layer. We're talking...
Well they won't be removing anymore paint so you now have multiple layers. That cause so many issues including sinkage and heavy stone chipping on front end panels.
Thicker the paint... Bigger the chips.
That's just stupid and why would it not all be painted at the same time? Even if you painted it 2 years later the mix should be the same. We're talking exact measurements here, point grams.
The colour matching there is no excuse, sometimes you can forgive plastic to metal but that's the wrong...
The reason I was asking about the quote is incase they were maybe blending some panels etc and that would give an easy excuse for the chips.
It's very poor if it's a proper bodyshop. Again making it even for guys like me to get customers to trust us with their pride and joy.
I won't go on a rant mate. It's not even to do with the average person spotting it... A blind man could spot that.
I do really try to refrain from condemning other people's work where possible. Something I was always brought up with, every business can have an off day... What you've imaged is...
The new one should be pretty good by all accounts. Looking forward to seeing what it can do. I'm still nursing serious abscence of the Note 7... cannot bring myself to get rid of this awesome Note 4 yet! :o
New battery from Anker has transformed the thing, it's over 2 years old.
As silly as some people will assume the above suggestion is... it's not. 2 seconds round the block, dry car. Not advised if you're literally just about to detail it!
I felt wetcoat was more diluted than Hydro.
Also you're using it as a drying aid Mike, simply "sheet" the water off the car after application and it will be dry due to the wonders of Hydro!
