Cleanmax gets better everytime I use it.
Reset really is very good even though I bum CarPro. Out suds BTBM imo and glides better.
Bilthamber autowash would be the only shampoo I use if it never came in such a small bottle, really enhances their products and some waxes. Seems to regenerate them.
All about cost. Not sure I'd want to fire round a track with some expensive PS3s on. Maybe pick up some second hand track tyres and stick them on some Turinis.
Tbf the 182 wheels always looked bigger. 15" 2118s can improve feel and handling and look pretty cool with the right look.
Just a consideration. Kill 2 birds with one stone by buying 16" Turinis and fitting same tyres but just a consideration.
No where else on the net will you find the...
How the f**k did I miss this again!!!! I'll poke Scott in the eyes next time I see him!
Stunning stuff. Why the f**k does Stu think that Escos needs detailed!!!! It looks factory!
Xr2 is my personal fave but the FRST is box fresh. Makes my balls ache.
That's pretty awesome though Dan. In fairness decent shampoo cam be bought in massive quantities and mitts last when not lying around the floor. As do drying towels.
I reckon a wash, dry, tyre foam/gel and a cheap QD could have a car looking immense for pick up.
I have such respect t for the...
The new AF deluxe one is supposed to be good.
I love this one... http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/shop/i4d-uber-yellow-premium-drying-towels.html I've used 2 for a long time now!
I think the wooly mammoth is one of the best all rounders but they didn't absorb as much as the ones above.
Good idea to avoid using their approved repairer. You're the 3rd party anyway so it's irrelevant who fixes it as the other guy pays. Did you ask about the hire car again?
Surely thew whole point of having your car repaired properly is so that it is returned to factory spec and a very very small % of people will ever know it has been painted at all.
I just think people can blow things out of proportion very quickly when it comes to repairing cars. Does the...
Hmmm 4200. They have assessed to replace the boot floor over repairing it if that's the case. Who are you insured through Mark?
Not sure why they quoted plus vat. That means nothing. Sick of seeing that everywhere, especially where the general public are concerned. The cost is the cost...
For what it's worth I don't like Billberry or wheel woollies.
Another great tip, always use a foaming head with your wheel cleaner, de-greaser and apc.
Smart wheels diluted properly blows Billberry out the water from my experience.
Another tip. If you're not using an iron remover alongside...
I tried this one during a detail and thought the exact same Dave, has a different inners/absorber but the fibre idea seems the same and feels much nicer to us than the usual lambswool etc.
Managed to get a contact who works closely with Slims detailing, discount and no delivery so ordered a few bits I needed and a new mitt. Very excited about the mitt! Awesome piece of kit and less up keep than those merino ones. AF puck with MF pad to try with my Werkstat Prime, need new MFs...
There isn't anything wrong with mistakes, i've always said that, it's how you deal with it that matters.
Some of the machinery those guys are working with are intricate.
New look trim gel on interior rubbers leave an awesome finish after buffing, as they don't get wet it lasts for ages.
I have some seal feed mate, i'll send it down with that wax. Text me where you want it sent. It's lasted me years, you need so little.
You removing the wheels Cub and cleaning them on the car? G101 will help, they'll need a good scrub to be fair.
You need something to protect them though. ACF-50 or bilt-hamber UC.
Ah so the ST being better means I think it's a better hot hatch? It's not, the Trophy is one of the best hot hatches ever made iirc. Add into the fact the ST isn't a hot hatch anyway the point is moot!
The ST I had was better for a what I wanted than my Trophy. It was a cracking car.
