Had a search but no definite answers. Got one of those little under seat alpine jobs, where's best to run the wiring from the battery?
On the ph2's you can use the bonnet release grommit, but it's in a different positing on the ph1's.
Just to make a point, how much you spend is no guarantee sometimes. My AST's were hugely pricey, more than my kw's. And the rear adjuster collar snapped on both sides within 12 months.
What's boils my piss is that it was a known issue, a design fault, and they made no effort to contact...
Yeah, probably just one of those things that no-one had twigged onto for performance cars. Shame, as I imagine the original FRS would of gone as well as it looked had it been included.
No idea fella, but one pad that works on one car won't work on another in my experience. DS2500's work very well on the 1*2's, but I went out in an e46 M3 running them, shocking!
Not at all. As said, the rc5 did, squealed a lot, threw up epic dust, rattled like f**k. These don't, a bit of dust (same as ds2500), no squeal (got more squeal from my 2500's). They rattle when on/off the brakes at parking speed, but nowhere else.
And, they bite when cold, more so than...
End of the day, handling's a very subjective thing. I didn't like the AST set-up, but I'm in the minority. I'm sure there are people out there that don't get on with H&R/KW etc.
They may have stumbled across a good set-up with these.
