I was £850 for the 182 the last time i insured it back in november last year just before i turned 22 with one years NCB, my renewal this year on my new R27 should drop to under £800 as i'll have another years NCB and i'll be a year older.

Had it a week today mate...just under 600 miles on the clock so far.
I didn't mean to buy an R27 as i was originally looking at the standard 197 but i got a really good deal on trade in for the 182 so i couldn't really knock it back lol
I took it a proper run on sunday with the Scottish lot...

Vinny, i know you had an HID kit on your silver Clio, was it as easy as my mate said to fit them?
I've been down the crashed route, it'll take ages to source some and will probably cost about the same if not more.
The company above HID's 4 U stock all spare parts for the kits they supply so...
Sorry mate, i personally wouldn't, Toyo, Michellin, Good Year, Continental, Pirelli, Falken IMO thats where it ends.
Its coming into winter, is it worth the risk, especially at the top of that hill before your house...

I'm going to spend the extra and get a proper kit with a warranty etc.
He said all you have to do to change them over is, unplug the connector to the bulb, take out the old bulb, put in the new HID bulb...
Car was already built mate...and at a shade over 2k off list price for a brand new non pre reg'd R27 from a main dealer with top trade in on my 182 i wasn't complaining!!
As i've recently changed from a 182 with Xenons to an R27 with standard headlighs i'm really missing the quality of Xenons lamps.
I've really no idea on where to start on this, in terms of where to buy, how difficult they are to fit etc?
Is the 197 H7 fitment??
