worth changing the cable, i changed my clutch and it got twice as light as it previously was, then when i changed the cable it once again got twice as light, its brilliant now never driven a clio with a clutch as light as mine! was only about £30 for the cable i think

wouldnt think anymore than £20 for fitting, its £30 i think for a new one i snapped mine only took 5 mins to fit but the engine was out at the time so that kinda helped, took me about 15 mins to do a mates with the engine in, bit of poking and fiddling about!

looking at a 1.6 16v clio with climate and xenons 350 miles away in a renault dealership, can local dealers source cars from other dealers and get this brought down here for me? or does it not work like that lol? cheers

aye veryeasy job, surround is just a couple of clips and its off and swap it over (the surround is part of the plastic see thru coverover the front of the dials so full thing comes off) needles were a bit harder but not hard, just stick a screwdriver under them and pop them off.

first pic was taken 2 or 3 months ago, 2nd pic was today so thats why millage is different. HAS, not a base model but an Expression so kinda in between!

fitted these at 2:20am thismorning because i couldnt sleep lol. got a set of dynamique dials from ebay with 11,000 miles on them, swapped the silver surround and red needles on them with my boring black surround and white needles and it makes a big difference, still not sure if i should go...

what about the UCH does that need changed too? also whats different about the head?

you dont have to take the maifold off to replace the plugs? 14mm socket to undo the plugs then used a thin snap-on torch which has a magnet on the end to pull them out lol
