    Bilstein B14 Experiences

If you think B14's are hard, I wouldn't bother with any other coilovers. They'll be the same if not harder. Think you need to man up :tongueclosed:

Gearbox broken and engine cut out.

He hadn't released the clutch pedal yet, so i don't think it was that. Probably has locked the flywheel though, so that'll be why the engine had stopped.

Check, check and check again. Do that and you can't really go wrong. Best of luck fitting the lower timing belt cover :tongueclosed:

Timing belt - please explain this to me

There are 2 smaller holes in the exhaust pulley, turn it by that. Also as said, the nuts may start to tighten themselves so just watch for that.

Some work in lbs per inch others are kg per mm. Divide lbs by 56 to get kg or times kg by 56 to get lbs. Just an easy way for people to work out what rate they need between brands.

    What have you ordered? *Detailing*

I know, right! Watched one video where the guy sanded with the above mentioned 3M discs and then a hit with the UHS and it came out like a mirror pretty much. Bit OTT for the average car as it's really for hard German paint and wet sanding, but if you had to detail a car that had been washed...
  25. Mr Trailer Man

    What have you ordered? *Detailing*

Yeah, most of the Rupes pads aren't that cheap but they should last. Not looked at their sanding discs, but i know the 3M Trizact discs are good, but they are dollar! Even go up to 6000 grit which makes the finish like glass!

    What have you ordered? *Detailing*

Yeah, from what i've read the grey pad starts off rock hard but then goes really soft with the heat as you work the polish in, so you get the cut > refine stages.

No just lie on the ground and reach under with two sockets/spanners and undo the bolt from the droplink.
  28. Mr Trailer Man

    What have you ordered? *Detailing*

Yeah they look good, as does the UHS polish system they have. It cuts, polishes and refines all in one. Seems to good to be true but the results look amazing. Worth a look if you're wet sanding
