    Remoulds - opinions

Same as any new tyre tbh. No one's willing to take achance. I've just put 4 new hankook's on. Did very well in a german tyre test, dirt cheap (£50 a corner in 205/45 16) but because they're unknown people seem to think I'm mad!

For the higher grade fuel doubters

Performance diff will be negligible. I use vpower for every other fill up, mainly because of the cleaning properties, which cheaper fuels miss out on.

    My new ride...S Works..

    Speaking sense tbh.

    Which exhaust for my 182?

Hayward and Scott. Best system I've personally seen on a 182.

    PH-1 to PH-2 boot release / surround

Mine has the ph2 surround, afaik it was just the surround that was changed, boots otherwise the same.

    steering wheel yes or no

    Looks really cheap IMO.

    My new ride...S Works..

The diff was on option for later S' iirc.

The best ever Picture of a Range Rover???

I like rr's. Lots of pedigree.

    Trophy dampers on 182 Cup?

Would be straight swap on a 182cup. If buying new, waste of money. I'd rather get the adjustable bilstein kit.

    My new ride...S Works..

I'd get rid of the spots, de-chrome, and get some proper (ie not run flats) tyres on it.

    My new ride...S Works..

Excellent, the 2 spoke wheel is beyond s**t. Buckets of pace, would pull on a 197 with ease. Has it got the diff?

    My new ride...S Works..

f**king thirsty things, but good to drive and very quick. Engines better on the new ones, but yours is nicer in pretty much every other way. Get rid of the spots asap! Which steering wheel? 3 or 2 spoke?

Shake at high speeds, (not balancing or alignment)

Buckled wheel? Balance weight fallen off? Loose wheel nuts?

    Changing tyres

I would, if your current tyres have enough tread.

    Changing tyres

I imagine it depends on how low you're going, could be clearance issues. Might be worth pm'ing someone like Fred, he'll most likely be able to give you an immediate answer.

    What suspension are you running?

Spring Rates - Standard vs. Aftermarket

Roughly £1200 a piece. I disagree on coilovers being overkill. My Kw's ride and handle better than my 182 on sportlines.

    RECAROS OR NO RECAROS?

I see where you're coming from. I think on the 182 it was essential as the standard seats were a joke. The standard 197/200 seats are an excellent road seat, so the benefits questionable to me. Do you lose side airbags with the recaro's?
  26. ForceIndia

    Remoulds - opinions

Used regularly in trucks and commercial aviation, pretty much as new tyres iirc.
  27. ForceIndia

    RECAROS OR NO RECAROS?

I don't think it will. Can you honestly see cars going for £850 more with the seats? Will be easier to sell, but not going to be a difficult car to sell either way. Are all the recaro's in the 200 that horrible yellow colour?
  28. ForceIndia

    Awesome Vee

Not a fan. All those mods and standard suspension??
  29. ForceIndia

    RECAROS OR NO RECAROS?

Depends what you're using the car for. The standard seats are very good (unlike the 1*2's) so if it's purely for road use, I wouldn't bother. Yes resale will be slightly lower, but £850 lower? Roffle! My arse! If you're going to be tracking it, probably worth it.

    195 vs 205 tyre width on a 182?

Does make a noticeable difference. On 195's the car moves about more, feels more playful. 205's grip more. I prefer 205's tbh.
