Good weight saving that! I'd try the wheel bearing myself, seems next logical step.

When my wheel bearing went was no play in the wheel and only did it at certains speeds/ angles. Front ones are only about £20-£30 i think and don't need to be pressed in and as it's quite a common thing on the 1*2s i'd start looking there.

But thats incorrect IMO As i had no insurance bonus when was 21 and insurance on the 172 was only £900 So would have cost me an awfull lots more to start building my claims up at 17 than it would sarting at 21.
