did an emergency stop today because of a dog running out in front of car.. anyway after slamming on the anchers i noticed that my breeaks felt a lot more responsive after... i didn't have to press them has hard to stop.
any one know why this is?
my gear stick just pulls towards the gear when i put my foot down.. (ie in 2nd and 4th it pulls towards the back seats) and when i let off the accellerator it will pull the opposite direction... looks abit funny actually but 2 of my pals clios are the same so i presume its normal pal
iv got some 15" standard alloys on the clio...
my car is black, and i was wandering what you would think of having white alloys with the black paint?
how would i go about painting them? or is there somewhere near sheffield i could get it done at a reasonable price?
Cheers!:approve:
properly unlucky pal...
about 2 month ago i drove up a kerb doing about 60 (dont ask) and bent my wheel like urs... almost exactly the same...that bad that air was coming out and i couldn't drive on it.... anyway when i took it to garage this beefy bloke got a rubber malet on it and bent it...
did you know you can sew your council for that?
they aren't maintaining the road properly and therfore neglagence on their behalf...
iv claimed a tyre off them and a wheel...
got a K&N on the clio and my pal recons it will mash up all the valves on my car :S all iv noticed is the nice sound that comes out of it.
car drives fine and the filter is correct model for my car?
is he just been a jealous n*b? :) or will my engine screw up
does it not look tacky with silver surround? iv always thought silver looks tacky on H/U especially with the rest of the interior being black.. looks odd IMHO ..
no offence like pal
yeh well i read about on here you should always let your car warm up before doing anything "hardcore" with it.. cheers for the replys anyway... never knew that about the striped and solid redline either :)
Think this is in the right section....
if you drive your car hard ( not constantly, just have the occasional blast/red line moment) is this bad for the car... i kind of ragged mine after and then got scared because i think i could have broke something in the engine ( i love my car ::)...
right... dont know if any of you knew this but you can down load the full manual for your renault clio from the renault website.... got all sorts of usefull stuff in it.
FYI you would have to start here and sign up etc but worth it IMO...
i will wax it/wash it through the week a number of times....
Whats the difference between a PC polisher and the buffers you can get from argos for 20 quid? the PC polishers just look like angle grinder type things to me... can you not rent them out from anywhere lol
