dont know anything about teh 180s but after a recent encounter with a 138bhp model in my car the chassis doesnt seem up to much! (maby the guy was just scared to push it) on the other hand, not many small cars that handle like a lowered clio or renaultsport clio

hi will the light/indicator stalk from a ph1 172 fit a 2002 MK2 PH2 1.2 16v? as far as im aware they are the same but wasnt sure, i need one with the front fog feature and seen one for sale cheers

no point in going anything less than 60mm, i know a couple of guys lowered 30-40mm and it looks standard!

you sure? i never needed them for the turinis arnt they just the same?

i would declair them now that uve phoned them, if you crash first thing they will check and you cant claim you didnt know the difference

they are ok on a turbo diesel or a standard turbo petrol car but wouldnt use them on an NA engine, much rather have a proper remap

so thats why i didnt like the 16's then! bumps knocking me off course, 50's it is :) cheers man

if its turbo power your looking for you want the 1.7t volvo engine or 5gtt engine, id go for the volvo lump or just a 2.0 williams lump

not sure about the other engines but the megane 225 engines are 225bhp but the gearboxes are massive, and thats only the start of the problems! im sure ive heard the renault 21 engine is also to big for the clio, and assume is probably true since no 1 seems to do it!

how do you feel the handling mate compaired to 15s? you having problems like me where it handles a bit "different" i had more grip but it didnt feel as stable at high speeds on slightly un eaven roads

cheers mate thats a great help! but one thing i dont understand is why does it drop off the power band in 1st gear at about 5,000rpm but not in any other gears? is this some sort of limiter in the ecu?
