You are on about the hole in the side where the lower belt rail is aren't you, not the floor pan? We ran the normal 25mm ones on my mates Clio. Don't know why the standard bolts are so long because the threaded bit in the body isn't that long...

Yeah mate, just put it under the bolt that holds the subframe down, with a decent washer on though. I'd just use the outer bolt hole where that belt rail was and screw this in

You could use a Schroth B23a bracket like this

No, you'd either have to get a spreader plate put in or attach something to the subframe.

Where are you mounting the inner lap belt?

The outer one where that lower bar is bolted to is M10 mate. They usually come in 25mm thread length which is fine.

He used engine oil though, which is what i do and i never really have that much difficulty getting them back in. Mustn't have used enough :tongueout:

I'm surprised how straight his rear beam is though, only +0.01 pretty much parallel! Most are usually toeing in +0.15 or more.

A -minus number is toe out :wink: -12 minutes total on the front is standard for a 182.

I forgot to say about the fuel line going into the rail. It's best to check it's in properly as you can't always hear or feel it click in.

At least it's sorted now and you know how to do it in future.
