do you mean the centre console bit? theres 2 clips just down at the wee vent where the air comes out at the side, one on each side, just pull it and it pops off, easy.

dont lower it on the cheap you'll regret it, save a bit for a decent kit or atleast get some good quality springs then change the dampers when you can afford to.

my 1.2 16v done this, replaced the bottom dogbone mount with a 2.0 172 one and its sorted.

cant see why its pointless when he has a colour that you cant get a 182 in, so it would be different! in my opinion tho i cant see it working, but i could be wrong.

nice get it colourcoded, or atleast get some back to black on it! and some tyre gel. some ph2 rear lights and dual-optic front lights (or what ever you call them) and it will look mint! and then finish it off with eather a dynamique interior or 172 one :)

also need opinions on this, chances are its getting a 2.0 16v conversion in the future so could FK's be used with a 2.0 conversion or am i better getting 172 hubs, coilovers for a 172 etc etc? cheers

hi, looking at possibly upgrading to coilovers after seeing my car with 5 people in it yesterday (apex -60mm kit) but i only want to do it if the handling is going to be better than it is with the apex kit as i preffer handling over ride height.

looked into the 1.6 16v for my car, after reading all that was involoved and watching videos i decided it just wasnt worth it as it wasnt that much faster to justify the cost/effort required. so im going for a 2.0 16v conversion. as for the sell up and buy a 172, i could have much MUCH more...
