handling - FK coilovers vs Apex -60mm kit

hi, looking at possibly upgrading to coilovers after seeing my car with 5 people in it yesterday (apex -60mm kit) but i only want to do it if the handling is going to be better than it is with the apex kit as i preffer handling over ride height.

FK's was class on my old 1.2 loved it! But meant taking the arch liners out and bendign brackets.

dont mind the modding involved, already has no front arch liners anyway, just going off apex since my front dampers are leaking

also need opinions on this, chances are its getting a 2.0 16v conversion in the future so could FK's be used with a 2.0 conversion or am i better getting 172 hubs, coilovers for a 172 etc etc?
