i can insure a 1.6 16v for £200 more than my 1.2 16v @ 17yr old, worth a thought (that online quote could have been wrong but i doble checked everything and re done the quote!
£1,050 for the 1.2
£1,250 for the 1.6
30bhp more and a load more torque! also worth saying mine was a basic...

where do you get all the cash from in the last month uve changed your new interior for an even newer one, colour coded the bump strips, changed the carpet, added a cd changer and got an induction kit!!
you not able to use a gearbox with a shorter 5th gear from another car? my 1.2 16v hits the limiter at about 95mph in 4th then go into 5th and it gets to 105mph quite easy then starts to crawl.
my batterys screwed, when you use the electric windows or blowers the lights dim when the engines off etc and the car sounds slow and like its dying when the starter motors turning over.
im planning on adding a 4 channel amp and sub with components soon so going to upgrade the battery before...
wow that looks mint! i like the 16v badge on the carbon engine cover, goes good with the polished manifold.
im also interested what tools you used to do it? do it by hand?
