Get Halfords own brand of Rainex . Same stuff , bigger bottle for the same price ;) . If it's applied as per the directions it's good stuff , lasts for months .

Trust me . It's not always the battery . My batterys fine , i've checked it numerous times . It's holding a charge . If the batterys the original and around 3 years old then i would accept that . But mines done this from being around 12 months old .

Mines been doing this alot lately , only when it's cold though . If i set off quickly just after start up then all the lights on the dash come on for a couple of seconds , the low fuel light stays on even if there is a a quarter of a tank or more and everything resets itself to zero except for...

^^^ The moral of the story is " dont " take it to a dealers then , unless you want bummin' very hard . Just take it to a back street garage . It'll probably only cost you around £40-50 .

Whats all this £170 b****cks ? The clips snapped on the gaitor thats all , lol . Get a new clip put on , only a couple of quid or a jubilee clip . Repack it with grease first . Its pretty common for the clips to snap , both mine went on my 172 . I drove it for a couple of weeks with no problem ...

^^^ Then you didn't read up enough about them . If you did you'd find that most people run cold air feeds from either the front grill or down in the original postion of the oem air feeds .

Sounds like it's bonded to the wheels . I doubt any wheel cleaner will shift it tbh . Halfords sell a wheel cleaning brush , it's a bit like those pan scourers but less harsh . They are about 6 quid . Pretty much shifts anything . Or you could try using clay .

Renault do say that the 1*2's can use up to 1 litre per 1000 miles which seems quite alot to me . My 182 doesn't use a drop , my 172 never did either . Maybe try a slightly thicker oil 5w or 10w - 40 see if it makes any difference .
