They already did . It's called the Megane 225 ;) They won't put a 2 litre turbo in a Clio as this would step on the toes of the Megane powerwise and pricewise .
I pressure wash the car first to loosen any dirt , then i use the high pressure foam , quick rinse then foam again and proceed with the 2 bucket method .
The foam lance you posted about from Halfords is an attachment for Karcher pressure washers . It's not a stand alone product you can attach to a hose pipe .
Those karcher foam lances are crap imo . They hold very little shampoo/water and run out quickly . They don't produce much foam either .
If you already have a pressure washer you could try my method . Cheaper than any foam lances ;) 11th post down ...
Good bit of advice there edde .
If it gets down to -17 i'll dance naked in Darwen town centre ;)
For anyone thinking of changing their antifreeze/coolant it should be mixed in the ratio of 60% antifreeze 40% water . Pure antifreeze does freeze at around -10 .
Agree . I'd never buy cheap unbranded discs and pads . You might buy them and find out they are crap then have to buy some decent ones so it would be false economy .
Having said that the buyer does have 100% feedback on over 18,000 sales , so there's alot of happy punters out there .
Welcome to Cliosport mate . Glad your happy with your car , enjoy it :) I'll let others tell you how it stands up against other " hot hatches " . In some peoples eyes it's unbeatable ;)
How olds the battery ? 12 volts is indicating your batteries fcuked maybe not holding a charge. It should be around 12.6 - 12.7 volts if it's in good condition . If it's older than 3 years i'd say its on it's way out , time for a new battery .
You can have a 182 cup , a 182FF without the optional cup packs and a 182FF with the optional cup packs .
You've got 2 cup packs . One is the front splitter under the bumper and the rear spoiler . Then you have the suspension cup pack which has slightly lower and stiffer suspension and the...
Just go to a scrapyard and get a 165 /55 /16 steel wheel with an old tyre on , you won't save much space though over a 205/45/16 though. Afaik you can't buy a spacesaver specific to the 182 .
Ask yourself how many times you've actually had to change a wheel at the side of the road ? Is it...
I assume you mean EU working time directive ? Thats been in place since 1998 in the UK and it's only optional . If it was enforced lots of places would simply go out of business .
The Ph1's do seem to hold their price pretty well compared to the Ph2's . Maybe cos they sold alot less of them and some people prefer the looks of the Ph1 over the Ph2 .
For 5K he should be able to pick up a FF 172 2001-02 plate with around 50k on the clock no problem imo .
Have a look on autotrader . There are loads going for 4k -5k but he will most likely have to travel a few miles . If you can get one off here better still as most will probably be better...
Not sure if it's worth the extra dosh yet .Looks wise i can't fault it .A tiny amount goes a long way .I used it on the scuttle panel , front splitter , fog surrounds , wing mirror surrounds and the back bumper insert and the bottle still looks unused .
I'm guessing a bottle will last a long...
^^^ I have to agree . The guys basically driving around with no insurance . Lol , at the drive REALLY carefull comment .
Just hope he doesn't have an accident or hit somebody else
I've just used mine for the first time today . What can i say , it looks black , lol .I doubt the car will be getting another wash for a couple of weeks so i'll see how long it lasts . Tbh the finish doesn't look any different to the CG trim gel or WD40 which i think is the best stuff i've used...
My mate has it in his astra , was done at Vauxhall though not aftermarket . He runs 99% of the time on lpg , it switches over from petrol automatically after about 2 mins .
You could try nitromors . But tbh the paint comes off very easily with wet and dry . You won't need to remove all the paint , just the loose paint . Leave the good paint and just rough it up a little with some 800 grit wet and dry to give it a good key .
Just make sure the wheels are clean ...
You'll obvisously have to remove any loose paint first . Use some 320 grit wet and dry .
Heres how i did mine . But mine was badly scratched so needed some filler as well . If you do a search there are a few other people who have done theirs so you'll get a few ideas .
