The general consensus on the PC version demo is... it's a let down. :( AI is still poor, the sound effects are awful and the running animations are the same as last years. Even the ever optimistic guys on WENB are backtracking now and claiming next year's will be the one. Gutting.

It was Seabass himself who said just before release of PES9 that they were going for a more arcadey, pick up and play experience with the game. That's why he has said they are taking that away and going more for a simulation this year as they totally screwed up and didn't expect the problems...

Doesn't matter if you do skip them, it should play a little cut-scene in the sewers...

I'm all for PES regaining it's crown, but Konami and Seabass himself admitted that Fifa was the better footballing game last year. You can't really argue with the guy who created it, TBF.

Won't you be able to mod it and change the front end to single round anyway?
