looking good. X Reg......wtf?!

Hi all, Could someone handy with photoshop make my wheels anthracite. I'm toying with the idea at the moment but i'm not fully sure whether to go down that route...again! Any suggestions or comments are always welcome. Thanks in advance, Chris

i doubt it mate. all F4/F4R engines share too many parts. mind you, you know Renault. lol how are you getting the filter itself off?...

2 bolts. 8mm socket and a looooong reach tool. it's a pig to do, try putting the socket in first then clipping your ratchet in after to get a snug fit. let me know if you have any issues, and ill have another harder look, lol

it's 8mm iirc. then you just need to pull the black rail out of it individual clips, and dont snap em. just to check, ill go have a look.

yeah, ok. like Fred said, you will need bespoke everything- mounts, plumbing, wiring, mangagement etc etc. What about a valver or Willaims lump (F7/F7R)?

a K4M (1.6 16v) or even F7/F7R (2.0 16v/2.0 16v (172)) would be a better option. and i'm not even sure how easy that is. as above, speak to Matt.

they always squeek from cold due to the compound. i' ve seen cars with pads so worn they needed new discs, so you weren't too bad fella. How are you finding the front discs compared to the OE items?

a Mk1 172 item is a better bet Ad. same shaft diameter. not sure if the V6 shaft is different. also, there is the fact that the Mk1 has 5 gears.

Iv had Pagid pads on both my Clios. very good they are too. squeek a bit in the morning though. lol although your grooved discs should help a bit with the squeeking.

very nice mate. would look better without 'Lockwood' on there imo. still nice though, the Mk2 172 misses out on white dials that a Mk1 like mine has, they look good.
