they are Mk2 items but there is that much crap on my car you cant tell.
Dan - hahaha! yeah, its true. I have found a package to post them in now btw. i raided my office for you.
My house is on your pic. lol. Thats dutty_112s car at my house when we swapped his headlights for Ph2 items.
the bumper is identical in all fittings, its just looks different.
foglights unclip from one block connector on the passenger side of the bumper. so watch out when your taking it off.
The car was due for its weekly punishment. Noth Wales was too far. Snake Pass & the A537 were bound to be packed with slow traffic.
So instead i had a blit of a tool around the various B-Roads around Knutsford, Macclesfield and Northwich. Found a couple of crackers too, although its a bit sh*t...
nice work.
I went for matt black Dynamique items on mine. (old pic)

As Pete said, they use the K4M block in thre Super 1600, and they run 220bhp.
Not the kind of thing your want to trundle down to the Spar in though.
Id stick with a remap, decat, some mild breathing work and maybe a set of cams.
BenR knows his stuff. worth a pm.
the 172 system will fit.
you just need to buy a different inlet elbow to fit your car. www.samcosport.com">www.samcosport.com
2.0 16v - F4R
1.6 16v - K4M
Routing the cold air feed will be similar too.
I did mine front one of the front fog light housings...
you will have trouble finding OE Renault items that will take 225 section rubber AND fit the 172.
Megane items are 7.5j but are 5 stud. As are the 16 inch steel items from an Espace.
Sell them of here or eBay and get yourself some Dynamique wheels (6.5j but will take 195 section)
"first quarter of 2006"thats what i was told.
should be worth waiting for though.
personally, im going to wait till the Cup version comes out before i even think of trading in my Mk1 172.
I think i may have seen the Dax elsewhere, thats why i ask.
Porlock Hillclimb a few years ago. It was just oblitorating everything from 911s to 6R4s.
Great to watch, and the guy driving was obviously a bit of a hand.
nope.
linkage is different iirc.
due to the fact the 182 linkage underneath goes to the front of the car, and the V6 goes to the rear of the rear obv.
I suppose if you wanted it badly enough someone who could kncok you up a bespoke linkage could make it happen, a fabricator or engineer...
Sometimes the locking pins in the doors hinges drop thus causing the door to not fit flushly.
Its warranty work.
take it back to your dealer and they will sort it for you.
