    Thinking about competing but not sure yet. I have a Sony HU and this XDP-4000x. I have a Caliber competition pro digital mono block amp for my 2 12" Polk Momo subs and a 4 channel competition pro Caliber amp running my Polk Momo components active.

    There is a big bolt that holds down that plastic bit behind the seat that you could use or just drill a hole in the bottom of the boot under that carpet.

    It would of been running more when i had it to as i had the CAT out. Flowed head, reground cam, bigger valves, green induction kit, peco stainless power master back box. Thats it!!! I was well impressed, i new it was quite quick but am impressed with that. I am about to put a 1.8 Laguna...

    Buy a test light and just check everything with it, you will find it. The remote and the power should both have power when the HU is on.

    I think it is weird that they have that thing with the gaina and the input volts. I dont understand the point. Some people might think it is a lesser amp because you do not get the full power unless you run 5.5 volts into it. A lot of people will not have 5.5v preouts which will mean that they...

    Russ, i dont think you have your facts totally straight. If you are putting say 7 volts from a line driver into ANY amp and turn the game up full to normally 0.5 volts then it is going to clip.

    Russ the preout voltage does not affect the final RMS rating before clipping what-so-ever. Dont know where you get that from buddy. Also personally if i was spending that money id go for the Caliber CA2010Dpro, well not would go for but have went for. Colin

    Wide Arches what wheels

    Yea 2 piece is the best to get for wide arches but single dish wheels look better IMO. However single dish wheels are harder to get for wide arches 2 piece are dead easy.

    Yea there must be different sized casts etc and also cast with different stud patterns as the holes are cast not drilled. But it must be something that they use in all the cast to stop all production.

    I was getting mine spray in the solid BMW black as it is NICE but ive changed to a custom black. Il paying about 2g for the my kit to be fitted, lots and lots of smoothing and the re-spray.
