Ball Joint. Jack it up and grab the wheel, yank it about and see it there's any movement.

I know exactly how to handle a dealership - as I know what they do and don't do in the background, had 6+ years working for a couple - they obviously tried to blag it. Those pictures are perfect, take it they are from the Renault website or similar?
